Ultimate Ninja

Ultimate Ninja seems like a very complex game to play but it is actually very simple. The goal of the game is that it's an action packed, fast paced, fun game where everyone has to have quick reflexes, dodge the other player attacks and get the others out. In ultimate ninja you have to be quick and have some strategy and skill. You want to be the ultimate ninja or the person with the quickest reflexes. Players attempt to eliminate others by successfully hitting the other players hands. You play the game clockwise with each person taking a turn. On your turn you are allowed to take one move you can either attempt to hit another person's hand with your hand or you can take one step in any direction. When a player is attempting to hit your hand you are allowed one motion to dodge the strike however you have to hold the position once you dodge. If a player successfully hits you hand you are out and you must leave the circle. The last person remaining wins. Gather all the players in a circle in the center of a room or just in a circle outside. Everyone says “Ultimate Ninja!” and then strikes a ninja pose. One person begins the game and they try to strike someones hand in one motion or they make take one step in any direction. Once they have made there move it's immediately the next person's turn (clockwise) The next person can immediately try to strike someone's hand or take a step in any direction. You can dodge in one motion if you think someone is trying to strike your hand however then you have to hold your new pose after you dodge until your next turn or someone else tries to hit you. Now that is is officially June and the summer has now begun it's time to give our skin some TLC. During the winter our poor skin is exposed to all the elements and gets tough and cracked unless you take really good care of it. Now that Summer has started we are beginning to wear shorts, tank tops, and swim suits so it's the perfect time to refresh our skin before it has to be shown to all. There are actually five easy steps to get your skin ready for this summer which will leave your skin soft and glowing. The first step is to cleanse your skin. You want to wash your skin thoroughly on a daily basis to remove the dirt, debris, pollutants, and perspiration that accumulates on a daily basis. If you have dry or sensitive skin use only warm water to wash your skin and use a mild natural cleanser every few days. If you have normal or oily skin be sure to wash with a gentle cleanser on a daily basis. Step number two is to exfoliate your skin. Take a smoothing stone and rub it gently over your skin to remove all the dead skin cells. This will leave your skin clean, radiant, and glowing. Step number three is to moisturize. Unless your skin is very oily you should use a moisturizer everyday to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Your skin needs moisturizer all year long as booth the winter cold, and summer heat can both be damaging to your skin. I like to use scented moisturizers from Bath and Body works they work really well and smell very good. It's what I have been using for years. Step number four is to choose a good toner. You want to apply a good toner on all of your exposed skin especially during the summer. Toner will also help protect your skin and help give your skin a healthy glow all summer long. Step number five is to use an SPF 50 sunscreen whenever possible. Always put on a bit of sunscreen on all exposed skin regardless of whether you plan to go into the sun or not. They sun is very damaging to your skin and sunscreen protects it from the harmful rays. If you follow all of these easy steps your skin will be glowing and radiant right in time for summer temperatures. : )

Hey Everyone! So this is my seventh month of doing my fitness center section of my website. This month I am going to feature ten of the most important things to remember when using work out tapes for exercise. Work out tapes are an amazing form of exercise and there is so many varieties to choose from. Start out this June right with some awesome tips for when your working out with work out tapes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay Healthy Everyone!!!!!


  1. When you begin any form of exercise you want to make sure that you are attired properly for the type of exercising that you are doing. You will want to be able to move freely without restriction by tight clothing. When you are using work out tapes you will want to dress properly for the form of exercise you are doing and you will probably be exercising at home unless you are using a gym with your videos so there is no need to worry about if you look silly. As a rule of thumb you should have your hair pulled back away from your face so that it doesn't impede your vision or get in your way. Make sure that you have comfortable exercise pants, a loose shirt (or sport bra if you are at home), and comfortable shoes with good arch support. Since it is now June and getting warmer out side if you don't have air conditioning at your home or gym you may want to wear some loose basketball shorts and a sports bra, or work out shorts and a loose t-shirt to keep you cool and comfortable in your home while you exercise.


  1. When you exercise it is very important to remember to stay hydrated and that you are drinking enough liquids. I always recommend keeping a water bottle with you at all times while you work out for easy use. While you work out you should drink either water or Gatorade. Water is always the best drink especially when you are working out but Gatorade can re supply some valuable vitamins as you exercise. You should not drink pop, coffee, or energy drinks while you exercise because those drinks are not healthy for you and will also make you more dehydrated.


  1. Sometimes when using work out tapes your body can get used to the same form of exercise if you do one kind for to long so it's always a good idea to switch it up and do kick boxing on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and do Yoga on Tuesday and Thursday or what ever variation works best for you!


  1. While you are working out it's always important to have a positive attitude. A lot of times when working out with exercise tapes it's hard to actually keep a positive attitude because of the work out instructor talking to you throughout the whole tape. But honestly after doing a tape a few times the movements get built into muscle memory so I generally turn the tape on mute and follow along silently with the instructor as I pray and listen to worship music on my MP3 player. This not only strengthens your body but it also strengthens your spirit. You will feel so refreshed afterward.


  1. Remember you don't only have to exercise at one specific time of the day. If it works better for you have your whole day be a work out! Run up the stairs of your house instead of walking up them. Sit on a sports ball to do your school rather then a chair. Walk around the house as you talk to your friends on the phone. Re arrange your furniture or clean some parts of your house every day. You don't have to do a work out tape to get a work out you can by simply making a few changes in your daily life.


  1. Remember to stretch and to cool down after every work out. Even if you are only doing a work out tape. It is so important. A lot of work out tapes actually include a warm up and cool down but even if they don't I recommend stretching before you begin. I like to stretch and then jump some rope before I begin my work out tape and get my heart rate up. Once my heart rate is up and my tape is finished I do some crunches and pushups and other light stretching before I continue my normal activities.


  1. When you work out depends on you! Some people like to exercise in the morning, some people like to exercise in the afternoon, and some people like to exercise in the evening. It all depends on your day, when you have time, and what your preference it! Do what feels right for you.


  1. When doing a work out tape a lot of times they have harder and easier variations of the movements. If you feel any pain or are very tired go ahead and do the easier movements rather then the more challenging. On the other hand if everything you are doing is a breeze go ahead and try the harder movements. Remember if you are struggling with the work out you can always drop out of the movement and just walk instead. Keeping your feet moving is better then stopping. Drop out and walk for as long as you need and when you are ready jump back in doing the movements. Be smart and use your judgment. Listen to what your body is telling you.


  1. Also get a work out buddy. Not only is having a work out buddy a fun thing to have but also having someone work out with you is good motivation and accountability in your exercise program. Get your mom, sister, dad, brother, friend, grandma, anyone to exercise with you at least five times a week and that will help you excel even more in your fitness journey.


  1. The most important thing about any kind of exercise is that you have fun! Work out tapes can be fun if you change what tapes you use. Change things up a bit! Try kickboxing one day, then yoga, maybe an ab workout, even aerobic dancing, and so on. Having a different type of exercise each day can be a fun adventure for you and for your whole family!
